School supply list
Parents, you can bring school supplies to school any time between August 17th - the first week of school. Please email kammy@excaliburclassicalacademy.org to schedule your drop off time.
1) Boxes of soft nose tissue (minimum of 2 boxes per child)
2) Bleach wipes (minimum of 4 containers per child)
3) A long sleeve waterproof painting smock or oversized long sleeved t-shirt (solid red or solid blue)
4) $79 one-time check made out to Excalibur Classical Academy for your child’s black, formal embroidered blazer. As your child grows, you can exchange their blazer + $10 exchange fee for a larger size.
Calendar & Schedule
The academic calendar follows a traditional school year, beginning on September 8th and concluding in May. Key dates, holidays, and events are published annually.
Schedule is subject to adjustment. Changes will be communicated to enrolled families.
Family Handbook
The Family Handbook contains all policies, procedures, and expectations for scholars and families. All families must read the handbook and sign the acknowledgment form during enrollment.
Key Policies
Attendance - Regular attendance is essential. Families must notify the school by 8:00 AM on any absence day.
Communication - Email is the primary channel. Important updates shared through a weekly newsletter.
Visitor Policy - All visitors check in at the front office. Parents welcome to volunteer and attend events.
Health and Safety - Up-to-date health and emergency contact information required from all families.
Uniforms - Order Here
Excalibur maintains a uniform policy for all scholars. Uniforms contribute to a focused learning environment, foster community, and reflect the seriousness we bring to education.
• Collared shirts in approved school colors (red, blue, white). Shirts shall be tucked.
• Boys: Khaki pants or shorts. Girls: Khaki pants, shorts or skirts.
• Solid dark brown or black belt.
• Closed-toe, solid black shoes appropriate for active learning.
• Solid black or white socks, or girls may wear solid black tights.
• Red, or blue hoodies with Excalibur logo.
• No visible logos, graphics, or branding other than the Excalibur crest.
• Formal black blazers with logo will also be available for order. Boys and girls should wear a solid white, collared shirt under the blazer. For formal events, boys will wear an approved tie or bow tie.
• No hats will be worn during the instructional day.
School Lunch
ECA does not offer lunch. It is a bag lunch that each student brings, or parents can arrange for catering of lunch.
Volunteering
Excalibur is built on the partnership between school and family. Parent volunteers are essential to our community.
Classroom Support - Assist mentors with material preparation, reading groups, and special projects.
Events & Traditions - Help organize and run school celebrations, performances, and community gatherings.
Campus Care - Support campus maintenance, beautification, and facility improvements.
Library - Help curate, organize, and manage the school library collection.
Fundraising - Assist with development events and community outreach efforts.
All volunteers complete a brief orientation and background check.
